Winter Welcome 2018 & Toy Drive

Let’s bring on the lights! The days are getting shorter and Jack Frost has decided to come out and play a little early this year. Let’s welcome him with open arms as it means good moisture, great skiing and extra time to cozy up with the family! So pull out the beanies and gloves, grab a flask or coffee mug and head on down to the Central Park (formerly Stapleton) Town Center this Friday evening for Winter Welcome 2018. Neighbors from all around will be joining together to watch the lighting of the holiday tree and celebrate the changing of the season.

Central Park (formerly Stapleton)’s Winter Welcome event will take place tonight, Friday, November 18th in the East 29th Avenue Town Center from 6pm to 8pm. 29th Avenue will be closed from Quebec to Roslyn Street and the Town Center will showcase carolers, roasted almond vendor, dancing trees, horse carriage rides, interactive sponsor booths with crafts, fire pits for hand warming and S’more making, local food trucks and more! Many of the activities will require a ticket and in the spirit of giving, much of the proceeds will benefit local charities.

Winter Welcome also serves as a 29th Avenue retailer open house and back by popular demand, TJC Real Estate will be featuring Candy Land as well as, an amazing hot chocolate bar and photo opp. Come with your friends and family, take your first holiday photo of the season and create your own yummy hot chocolate with plenty of toppings to choose from!  Those cold festival goers over 21 can also request a ‘special winter beverage’ for an extra special treat.

This year we will also be a hosting a TOY DRIVE drop-off location.  The TOY DRIVE is being led by Central Park (formerly Stapleton)’s Girl Scout Troop #65681 and benefiting MotherWise Colorado, a local non-profit empowering mothers and their families to thrive during pregnancy and post birth. Bring a new toy donation and receive a big candy surprise!!  The majority of the toys are geared for children ages 0-3, but we are accepting toys for ages 0-16 thru November 30th. We will also be accepting monetary donations in lieu of toys. We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces this Friday.

Your Neighborhood Realtors will be here!
