Denver Star Spangled Festivities Sneak Peek 2017

It’s a time to picnic with friends, gather by the pool, join a block party, light up the sparklers and find your seat at dusk in anticipation of the light show that will follow.  It’s the FOURTH OF JULY! In the midst of the red, white and blue decorations, let’s not forget why we are celebrating (besides many having a paid holiday). It’s a time to be grateful for the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the freedom gained by separating from England and the birth of our nation. Now, how do YOU plan to celebrate?  Need some ideas?  Below is just a peek of all that the Denver Metro area has to offer.

Park Hill Parade

Join TJC Real Estate and Distinctive Properties at the Fourth of July Park Hill Parade.  Look out for our golf carts and classic convertible in the parade as we will be passing out beach balls and candy for the kids!  The parade will begin at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, July 4th (2017) at the corner of 23rd Avenue and Dexter in northeast Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood.

Viewing areas will be available along the entire route on the north and south sides of 23rd Avenue.  Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to set up a blanket or chairs and settle in for the fun.  The parade procession will end at 23rd Avenue and Krameria Street, but the excitement doesn’t end there!  A street fair will take place following the parade (approximately 3 pm) that will include music, food and activities for the kids. “May it be to the world, what I believe it will be … the signal of arousing men to burst the chains … and to assume the blessings and security of self-government. That form, which we have substituted, restores the free right to the unbounded exercise of reason and freedom of opinion. All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. …For ourselves, let the annual return of this day forever refresh our recollections of these rights, and an undiminished devotion to them.”
