Of course, you can get your pumpkin at the nearest grocery store, but isn’t it much more festive and exciting to get out of city and visit the place where your pumpkin was grown? You might even have the chance at an autumn festival, hay ride or corn maze! Support local, farm to table…..

No one likes a sad, wrinkly pumpkin adorning their front porch on Halloween. Check out these great tips to keep your carved pumpkin looking wickedly fresh….
Option 1: After carving, spray pumpkin with WD40, let dry for 24 hours. Another bonus of using WD-40 is that sprayed layer will prevent insects and other friendly creepy crawlers from swarming around the inside of your jack-o-lantern.
Option 2: Pat your freshly cut pumpkin dry and apply a thick coat of petroleum jelly! This technique will keep the most color on your pumpkin. It will also keep the pumpkin firm and moist.
