Tips To Prevent Freezing In Your Home

A friendly reminder as we are entering into much colder weather this week:

To help avoid freezing water pipes, leave your faucets, sinks and showers on a slow drip from the hot water side. Also leave the cabinets (if present) below the sink open so warm air gets in below the sink. This is especially important in areas where the sinks or showers are adjacent to an outside wall.

Also please remember to disconnect all outside hoses from the house to avoid water freezing and broken pipes!

Doing this is always a good idea when the temperature gets into the teens or lower.

Now is also a good time to change your air filters, they should be changed every 30-60 days…..

Stay warm!
