Thomas (Tom) Cummings

Tom Cummings, the owner of TJC Management Services/TJC Real Estate, has been actively involved in the Real Estate market since 1993, when he bought his first property, a condo in Chicago. Tom started managing rental properties for himself in 1997, when he rented out his condo after the marrying his wife, Kari, who also owned a condo in Chicago.  Together, Tom & Kari parlayed their two Chicago condo’s into the current 12 they own at least a part share of now.  Along the way they’ve bought & sold 8 other properties, not including the 12 current ones.   

In 2002, they became one of the Stapleton’s first residents, and realizing the potential of the neighborhood; they sold their existing rental properties & “rolled” them into 4 Stapleton rental homes.  They currently own 5 properties by themselves in Stapleton. 

Realizing there was a market for a property management company in Stapleton; Tom created TJC Management Services in 2004 and started marketing it to property owners in the neighborhood. Using his professionalism, strong ethics, friendly persona &incredible work ethic, Tom built TJC Management Services into the leading property management company in Stapleton, with 104 properties under management.   

Now, with over 16 years as a real estate investor & over 10 years as a property manager, Tom is an expert in not only the day to day management of rental properties, but also the big picture of being a landlord. 

Starting in 2009, Tom began gearing up TJC Real Estate, with which Tom will use his extensive Real Estate and Stapleton knowledge in actively helping property owners sell their homes and folks who are looking to buy a home in the Denver area.  TJC Real Estate will focus on Stapleton and the east Denver neighborhoods.
